Who we are
Our History
Created in 1884 by Aimé MORON, the Domaine de Gagnebert, at that time, grows several types of crops. Since 1950, with the 3rd generation, the Estate specializes in the production of wine and cultivate only vine.
The arrival of the 4th generation, Daniel and Jean-Yves Moron, endows the Estate with the most modern and the most efficient work tools :
Thus, they acquired a harvesting machine, thermo-regulated winemaking cellars, pneumatic press, tangential filtration, micro-oxygenation, and barrel aging.
Today, Daniel’s sons are the 5th generation. Christophe holds the position of cellar master since the year 2000 and Nicolas manages the commercial part since 2003.
While perpetuating the family know-how, the new generation takes care of the whole process, from cultivating the vine, harvesting and transforming the grapes up to the bottling and marketing.
It confirms its determination to develop the quality of wines while respecting the environment and has now embarked on the path of sustainable production.
